A Special 70th Birthday Celebration

We were fortunate to be part of Consuelo’s 70th birthday celebration on September 5, 2026, at Dos Lagos Golf Course in Corona, California. Her granddaughter Kimberly hired Brightlight Photo Booth to help make the celebration extra special for Consuelo and their family. With around 120 guests coming together to celebrate such an important milestone, we knew we wanted to create something that everyone could enjoy throughout the night. We brought out our Keychain Keepsake Experience, Modern Luxury DSLR Booth, Rose Garden Backdrop, and plenty of fun birthday props. From the moment guests started taking photos to the last keychains of the night, the energy was amazing!

Celebrating Inside The Arroyo Room at Dos Lagos Golf Course

The celebration was held inside The Arroyo Room, the indoor banquet space at Dos Lagos Golf Course. When we arrived, the original plan was to set up the photo booth outside the room in the lobby.

After seeing the space, we recommended bringing everything inside where the actual party was happening. One thing we’ve learned from doing so many events is that photo booth placement really matters. We don’t want the booth tucked away where guests forget about it. We want it to become part of the celebration.

At the end of the night, Kimberly came over and told us we were 100% right and that having the photo booth inside the party was the right decision.

Our Keychain Keepsake Photo Booth Experience

Guests had a blast using our Modern Luxury DSLR Booth with the Rose Garden Backdrop and birthday-themed props. After taking their photos, their prints were ready right on the spot.

From there, guests headed over to our Keychain Station, where their photos were turned into keepsakes they could take home. Seeing guests get excited about their keychains is one of our favorite parts of this experience!

A Sweet Ending to Consuelo’s 70th Birthday

Toward the end of the night, Twisted Spoons Ice Cream Cereal Bar was set up inside the venue. It was the perfect treat to finish off such a fun celebration.

Why the Brightlight Experience Matters

What really made this event special for us was a message I received from Kimberly the following day. She told me, “OMG we loved it,” and said her husband loved the entire setup so much that he told her they should have had us at their wedding.

During our first conversation, Kimberly had shared that the photo booth at her recent wedding had been a disappointing experience. She mentioned the photo quality wasn’t great and there wasn’t much interaction with the guests.

That made her message afterward mean even more to us.

For us, it’s never about simply putting a photo booth in the corner. It’s about creating an experience guests actually remember.
